Description

Have you ever wanted to build a piece of furniture but didn’t know where to start? This class is for you. Through lecture and hands-on demonstrations, you will design and build your own unique object. Instructors will teach you project planning, lumber selection, safe use of woodworking machines and hand tools, wood joinery, assembly, and finishing.

In addition to the weekday classroom time, there will be a field trip to the lumberyard and one additional weekend day that is dedicated to milling your rough lumber.

Class schedule

  • Class: Wednesdays, September 6 to November 8, 6:30pm-9:30pm
