This class is for students who have completed Intro to Furniture Making and who would like to continue their exploration of woodworking. Each student will design and build their own unique object. Instructors will be on hand to consult and advise throughout project development and production. They will respond to student projects and will teach tools and techniques that are specific to the projects proposed by the students. Students will have more time to work on more advanced projects.

Students should email the instructor with ideas and sketches for a few different projects in advance of the start of the class. The first class will have students milling lumber, so come prepared to work with your wood.

Total class time is 35 hours. Many students opt to take multiple sessions of this class to finish more complex projects.
