Private instruction is an excellent opportunity to improve your knowledge and experience of woodworking tools and techniques. Our instructors will work with you one-on-one on anything from project design, to material selection, milling, joining, and finishing.

Please begin by emailing us at hello@alliedwoodshop.com before you purchase private instruction hours. Let us know what you would like to learn or build, send us inspiration photos, and tell us what your experience level is. With that information, we can estimate the number of hours your project will take and pair you with an instructor

From there, you and your instructor will start with a one-hour planning session. This can be done by phone or in-person. You'll then meet up in the shop to begin on your project. There is a three-hour minimum per session for private instruction, which allows us to make substantial progress on your project. We can't wait to get started!

Private Instruction is $150 an hour. The first planning session is $125 for the hour.

Class Schedule
Our availability can be very limited during the weekends, so please email hello@alliedwoodshop.com to check the schedule before purchasing the class.
