Quarantine Woodshop: Chisel Sharpening

We miss our shop and hosting classes, and we know many others are feeling this way too. That's why we've decided to adapt some of our classes into free, downloadable at home guides. Welcome to the Quarantine Woodshop.

The Quarantine Woodshop introduces alternative woodworking methods and exercises to adapt to Safer-At-Home conditions. We have taken into consideration that individuals may no longer have access to a woodshop, have a limited working space, or limited learning opportunities. You do not need any prior woodworking experience to participate.

Today, we are providing you with a how-to guide on chisel sharpening.

This chisel sharpening exercise utilizes accessible and inexpensive materials that can be used in a pinch or when you are away from the shop. The same skills can translate over to using more expensive sharpening materials.
