Steam wood and bend it with your bare hands? Yes! Students will learn the basics of steam bending while creating a unique freehand sculpture. The class will discuss common problems and solutions in the steam bending process, including how to avoid run-out, building a form to fit your goal, and how to create a successful bend in a matter of seconds. On the second day of class, each student will combine their bends to create a one-of-a-kind sculpture. Lighting strips will be available for those who'd like to turn their form into a modern lamp.

All materials and supplies are included. Class size is limited to 8 students.
